Oscar Wahlstrom – “I played for dances or bars every Friday or Saturday for years.” His favourite music is old country, which he quickly points out is quite different than today’s country. The two are so different, old country is often referred to as “bluegrass”. Oscar continues to play guitar in a band known as the Sinkut Mountain Boys. The group plays a few events but makes sure to get up to Riverside Place every Tuesday to play for residents.

Earl Sonneveldt – Earl never took any formal training for music, but he learned to play the harmonica later in life and continues to play and write music
