Neighbourhood Space is the Place to be!

Friday – Swing into Spring!

We are hosting a kick-off for our newest programs at The Space — Good Neighbours Days and the Community Adult Literacy Program (CALP). We will have a Barbeque, Coffee, Conversation, a Celebration Cake — and in the afternoon, Bingo for Elders and Seniors.  The ongoing programs will also be featured: Volunteer Vanderhoof, Vanderhoof Seniors Connected, and the Youth Centre. Come join us!

Saturday – Luck of the Irish Intergenerational Games

Join us for the Luck of the Irish Intergenerational Games Day! There will be lots of fun and games for all ages: Pool, foosball, board games, and cards. Look out for door prizes as well. Special guest appearance by local archer Colton Loewen!

Fence Work Bee!

People make new connections as they work on their fence boards, which will be installed at the Bean! If you would like to participate, come down to the Neighbourhood Space and pick up a board. Next Work Bee is Wednesday, November 10, at 1pm.

If you would like more information about the this Project, click on Good Fences under Categories on the right side of the page.

Beautiful Katimavik Mural

There is another mural at the Neighbourhood Space!
Katimavik volunteers were busy on Saturday making art on the wall. It makes the space so much more friendly!

Check out photos of teens at the youth centre – playing games, hanging out and enjoying each others company.
